Ai generated art have lot of potential and is kinda fun to use and then you get massively overblown NPC hate against AI generated art from ''artists'' Never understood it.. For every arguement agaisnt it, it exist counterargument -AI ART STEAL ARTIST REEEEEEEEEEE- The argument is only valid if the AI is forcefull trained on a specific artist with a huge database. In that case the AI could generate a similar style and even that doesn't mean it would be automatically true. Any mixed database will always result in murky pot-pouris of the most common style. For anyone why cry they were 'stolen' is because their style was already generic looking with many other artist with a similar style. The AI won't destroy their so called ''art career'' it was already dead because they have barely anything original to offer in the sea of 'artist' (BTW yeah I know the story of the machine who ''stolen'' the watermark. Watermark are nearly always here, they are usually in the lower right corner. Hence it a common occurence the machine just tought this thing is a important part of the art.. And one closer inspection the watermark wasn't even a carboncopy it was just a AI scriblemark on the same position but it the same community who start bitch fight about ''specie thief'' and style thief'' so just look like enough is good enough for them to start a fight) -AI ART WILL TOOK OUR JOB REEEEEEEEEEEEE As good it is AI art isn't flawless, small but serious anomaly are common(you know the ai art can't do hand meme?) And it lack of consistance(stuff that are the utmost importance if you do anything more serious than cheap 1 shot commission, like multi angle concept art of x thing, comic, animation, rework and pretty much anything) just show that we will always need human to clean the mess(prompt accuracy or inaccuracy is a good one). The only sincere truth in it is we may need less artist than before but still. It pretty much a pipedream that AI art will replace EVERY artist for now.. The ''twitter,tumblr,deviantart'' 'artist' communauty is a shit show I make the difference with professional artist who work inside various studio(no-noncense, freelancer with decent porfolio can count as well) and the ''freelancer'' hobbiyst. I'm talking mainly to amateur who think are ''real artist'' because they started to do cheap commission of their oc on deviantart. Those pompous freelancer artist with barely any real world experience think they know everything about the 'art world' work giving dubious and even counter intuitive advice (I'm looking at you princess celestia)
